Updates: UNM Fiasco and Public Records

It's time to update what is happening at UNM about their misuse of money and the status of Public Records issues.

UPDATES

Speaking of UNM, it was revealed that the “mystery” donor of $25,000 to cover part of the Paul Krebs golf trip to Scotland with taxpayer money was Paul Krebs. No one said he was smart. He paid the money to the UNM Foundation with his credit card. And he told his wife, in an email that the Attorney General has, to delete all emails so there is no trace. DUMB! Paul Krebs’ financial statements have been taken by the Attorney General and if it shows a problem we hope Krebs will be indicted. This is a very bad example of the culture at UNM.

I have talked about, many times, my Inspection of Public Records Act lawsuit from hell. My judge accepted the Public Education Department’s Summary Judgment so the lawsuit was ended. But wait there is more. The judge did not follow the IPRA statute and I filed with the Appeals Court. Now, it was depressing at first but the last week in September the Appeals Court found in another case in the same District Court, that IPRA can not be treated as it was in a case almost identical to mine. IPRA is very specific about what can be done and what happens when IPRA is not followed. So fingers crossed. Meanwhile the clock keeps ticking on damages if everything goes in my favor.

Finally, I would love it if you vote the way I do, because I am always right! But seriously, YOU NEED TO VOTE! This is a very important election and it is your right to vote SO DO IT!!
