Lavender In The Village – this Saturday!
Lavender In The Village is one of the best family events around. We have had a booth at Lavender from the beginning – in a tent next to the tennis courts in Los Ranchos, then in the Barn at the Village Hall in Los Ranchos, and now the Agri-Nature Center (soon to be the Larry Abraham center) in Los Ranchos.
My tips for Lavender:
COME EARLY – it gets HOT and parking is limited!
Do try the Lavender Ice Cream and Lavender Lemonade.
Get a Lavender plant inside the Agri-Nature Center because they sell out!
And come to our booth a few steps further and say hi. If things go well, Francelle Alexander will be signing copies of her two, HOT North Valley books and her first book, Among the Cottonwoods. She doesn’t like the heat, so she will be at the opening of Lavender near 9am. We also have some killer book deals and we will be trying out the new flower garland hairbands and crowns. FUN!
Go to Lavender In The Village, Saturday, 9am -5pm, right off Rio Grande Blvd. NW, across from Los Poblanos in Albuquerque. There is a fee to get in. And yes, we have a lavender cookbook and it is local too!
