Once again, New Mexico is at the bottom of the list! No surprise.
New Mexico Last!
We can officially state that we are last in child welfare – poverty, hunger, education, and health insurance. Kids Count released the data today. New Mexico is the poorest state in the United States.
So much for our Governor surrounding herself with kids and saying how great we are – we aren’t! So much for NMPED having tons of initiatives and special programs for kids – they don’t work.
We are a mess! We were 49th but dropped to 50. Sad! Maybe in November we can get someone in that knows what they are doing and help kids. Add on top of that the crime rate, bad economics, and bad schools because of no resources and it is no surprise people opt to live elsewhere. Sad!
