Since We Can't Negotiate a Solution, Maybe People Need To Sue!
I Hope People Do This!
I was glad to hear about a government employee suing because he worked can’t get his pay. Aren’t there laws that the feds have used for YEARS to go after business not giving pay for work done – like recently Walmart?
The people affected need to sue. And I hope every bar association is saying we can represent government employees PRO BONO! They need to get their back pay and depending on their employment contracts, they might have basis for even more. There are damages now. A lot of people suing may get their attention – nothing else has.
While I am yelling, government contractors who did work and did not get paid and can’t get back-pay for services rendered, need to also sue. Isn’t that against the law too? Everyone in government service needs to pull out their contracts and read them over.
Students can’t get tax certificates for loans because the IRS is closed. Anyone who gets sick from foods not inspected, needs to take matters into their own hands and sue. New drugs, beers, and new airplanes can’t get inspected and on the market. There are real consequences now.
