No Pulitzers Really?
Trump wants the Pulitzer committee to take away Pulitzer awards from the Washington Post and New York Times because they were awarded for the coverage of Russian duplicity by Trump. First of all, and Trump probably doesn’t know this, you just can not arbitrarily take Pulitzers away. The world doesn’t operate like that, thank God, on impulses and tweets – only the President acts like that.
The papers earned their Pulitzers and just because Trump can’t get one is no reason for the Pulitzer bash.
Trump did withdraw the request by Betsy DeVos to remove federal funding from the Special Olympics. Even Trump could see DeVos was being stupid again. But the Armed Forces and their schools still have to wait because Trump wants a big slice of their budget to go toward the wall. So much for our people in uniform and their kids.
