15 Local Authors Participate in Rotary Fundraiser

Rio Rancho Rotary Roots to Wings
We were invited, with many other authors, to the Annual Roots to Wings fundraiser to benefit the Rio Rancho Rotary Dick Hiller Tutoring Program at the Marriott Pyramid on Saturday. It is nice to see the organizations that have recognized that kids need to know how to read and schools need books. This should be a priority above sports but many schools don’t think like that.
It was good to see teachers, parents, principals, volunteers, and Rotarians step up!
