Whole generation lacks understanding of history!
A recent poll said 22% of Millennials have no knowledge of the Holocaust. They also don’t know how to make change, any history, great books, music, or movies, historical figures, pop culture events, and on top of it don’t care that they don’t know.
There are a few reasons for the problem. Millennials don’t read. So they are not getting any information. It can be said that many schools are not teaching history and other things – they are just teaching tests. Millennials can’t do math without their phones. In fact, they can’t do much of anything without phones. And Millennials don’t talk to people so they don’t know about pop culture or anything.
Now DISCLAIMER: some Millennials are on top of everything but the majority aren’t.
It has been said you are doomed to create the same problems if you don’t know what happened in the past. That is going to be a big problem!
