Is this the height of waste and stupidity?
Trump ordered that the military hold a parade, he said, to honor Vets. The real story is is, Trump was in France and saw the Bastille Day parade and loved it and he wanted one.
Trump ordered the military to put one together for this Vet’s Day. After “working” on it for months, they said it would cost $92M and they couldn’t get it together until next fall. That was embarrassing and unacceptable to Trump, so the parade was cancelled. Trump said he will see a parade at Andrews Air Force Base this fall and travel to Paris to see their parade on November 11, 2018. Is this an obsession with parades?
Vet’s organizations have said, “Give us the $92M.” It could do a lot of good. Does Trump have any idea what $92M could mean to Vets or anyone else in America? Talk about waste to put that money toward a parade! I like Vets a lot but this is terrible!
