What a crazy world we live in!

There are some crazy ideas floating around there! Let's see… teachers with AR-14s, $30M Military parades to make our President happy. Just how stupid are we expected to be?

Teachers’ Get Paid Enough to Carry? Really?

armmewith-teachers-lead-opposition-trumps-plan-give-educators-guns
Talk about really dumb ideas. Having teachers carry guns in school to shoot suspected terrorists. So besides teaching, doing standardized tests, bus duty, hall duty, lunchroom duty, study halls, coach, order supplies if they have the money, counsel, conduct trips, and run sports games, some dumb person thought it was a good idea to have them carry guns too!

Let’s have teachers be policepersons. We won’t pay them extra money or provide the training they need or pay for their licenses. We just figure they are there so why not carry? So not make sure students are safe in a crisis but have them go and hunt the perps. Smart.

Then after they are lucky enough to kill someone, the lawsuits will start. And do we really need more guns in schools? How about less guns in schools! After we arm the teachers lets give guns to cafeteria workers, janitors, bus drivers, bank tellers, store clerks, librarians, pastors, fire-people, ambulance drivers, doctors, nurses, and everyone else. Let’s all carry guns. Is that the answer? Or just not have guns in the hands of non-law enforcement. An idea.

More Stupid

President Trump has issued the Defense Department notice that the big, beautiful military parade will be November 11 – Veteran’s Day. It is projected to cost between $10 and $30 MILLION DOLLARS. Could that money be used for Vets programs and healthcare rather than flushing it away on a stupid parade?

Right now we are having problems with more guns than we need. Why are we having a parade to glorify guns and other military equipment? The answer is simple – France and Russia have big military parades and Donnie wants one too so he has bragging rights.

Is this the reason to spend a ton of money and make the country oppose it? So out of touch with reality!!!!!!

Gun & Teachers – Again!

So, let me get this straight – it is OK to have armed teachers in a school to face a gunman while armed and trained deputies stay outside a school because it is too dangerous? What about that works for you? Teachers will never be as skilled as armed, trained, and experienced police.

If a situation happens, they have to get a gun – I hope – in their locked safe. Not a purse because kids go in purse and in a pocket SCREAMS for a gun to go off. We are talking major time in a split second situation.

And who is going to pay for the bonuses, training, and insurance premiums? Schools can’t pay teachers and for books and paper as it is. Don’t ask them to pay for more.

And you need insurance when the gun carrying teachers do something bad. If they shoot someone in the school carrying a gun, the shooter’s family will sue, the school gets sued, and the teacher gets sued. If the teacher shoots a student or another teacher, they will still sue too. The store that furnished the gun and the training company will get sued. That is just the way it is. If a student steals a teacher’s gun and uses it, everybody gets sued too.

Why not give every teacher a can of mace or pepper spray? It is safer.
