All this hatred and bullying must stop!
If there is one thing that can make me see red – it’s bullies. Maybe it stems from my childhood, or as a journalist, or just ingrained into my genes. I hate bullies. The world would be better off if there were no bullies.
Now, my resting Barbe is quiet. Far from a bully. But I have come to learn when things get ugly, a bully is called for and I turn into one. I know a lot of things that a bully does to intimidate people and get positive resolution to a problem. Bullies HATE being confronted by another bully.
If someone doesn’t know, Donald Trump is a bully. At Wednesday’s meeting with the Democrats, Trump showed what happens when a bully to told, “NO!” We now have a situation of who will blink first.
If I were a government employee I would:
Send an email and letter to both Trump and Pelosi/Schumer about how you want to work and be paid. The same goes for government contractors who are being screwed.
Send a Letter to the Editor of the local paper saying the same. The ability to work, get paid, pay for a mortgage, and bills has nothing to do with a wall.
Other businesses impacted by the shutdown need to also send the same type of letter to the local paper. Explain why this is bad for your business.
The only thing that makes a bully stop his tormenting is to say NO! Sure, it doesn’t hurt to point out the tons of lies and bad “facts” but NO! is the best answer. That and what I have said before – find a new job!
