Another week and another tragedy. But something is seriously wrong in our land!
Another Tax – REALLY? Or a Cash Cow?
A number of airports want to place a tax on top of a tax already being paid by travelers when they buy a ticket to fly. You already have a bunch of fees, taxes, and surcharges on the airfare ticket you buy but airports want more. Why? Because they need money to gut their old airports and build new ones.
The American citizen has become the new cash-cow. If you need a new stadium, airport, road, school, library, city hall, or anything, tax people to pay for it. You pay for everything and there will be a point where there is no more money.
What happened to oil funds, gas funds, municipal land sales, and other things to live within a budget?

Another high school shooting. They are getting to be so last week’s news because they happen so much.
I bet that for the families of the ten who died, it isn’t old news.
A kid got his father’s legal guns. The kid had no reason to have them and obviously the kid was not sane. No one who kills ten people is sane.
Shame on politicians who allow guns.
Prayers to the families of the dead and wounded. It will happen in a town near you.
