Long-time Southwest Writers Official Retires!
No, he is not a scam artist but he is New Mexico’s secret weapon for authors. Larry goes by Dr. Doom. He has been an officer, office manager, and guy that keeps the Southwest Writers ship moving ahead.
Immediately, people may be scared of Larry but he is a pussy cat and we have spent many a time gossiping about the book community, current affairs, Trump (one of his sore spots), and everything else.
Larry’s book on Eugene Bullard: First Black Military Pilot, was a personal triumph. Larry won a bunch of awards for the book and spoke to a number of groups on the forgotten pilot.
Larry is retiring again. He was so many other things in his previous life notably a chiropractic doctor. Thus, the Dr. Doom. But supposedly he is going to take it easy and write with his wife Edith. We’ll see!
Larry is aces!
